When It Is the Right Time?

It’s been a while hasn’t it? I guess that’s what happens when work and life moves in one monotonous direction. It’s been a while since i’ve taken photos or flown my drone because I wanted to. When did it become such a crime to want to carve time out for yourself.

It is now October 2024. I thought i was going to suffocate this past September. From a NYC Gala to a powerpoint presentation in the Bahamas, I was spread so thin. Was the stress and lack of sleep worth it? I really don’t know.

I think i forgot how to be happy. Sitting behind this desk that I report to daily doesn’t fill my soul much. I need to fly again.

Life Hiatus

Trying not to faint from the height. {Grand Canyon - South Rim]

A lot has happened in the last three years. The world came to a screeching halt and I needed to figure out what drove me to wake up in the morning. Although the reasonings change daily, I know that I want to be a storyteller. I want to make moments tangible through stills and moving frames.

I leave for Italy in a few days. It will be my first time traveling with friends since COVID and my first actually vacation in years. I’m not quite sure what I’ll find there but I hope to discover beautiful cobblestone streets. I wish to devour the most decadent gelato. I want to stuff my mouth with unfathomable amounts of pasta and cheese.

I want to create things daily and that I what I shall do. Whether it is a photo or a shot clip shot on my photo, I would have created something. Masterpiece or not, it is mine. I have told myself that I will blog our experience while in Italy. I think it will be nice to reflect on each day in a space far from people’s eyes and unwarranted comments.
